Unexpected Surprises

While visiting one of my favorite local spots I came across this beautiful little bouquet someone decided to leave on one of the picnic tables. It instantly brought a smile to my lips and I knew I just had to capture that good feeling so I snapped several pics.

If you’re like me, you often feel more successful and productive when things are planned and organized in perfect harmony. Stress is less likely to rear its ugly head and things run more smoothly when I stick to plans and schedules. What we have to remember is it’s not about getting the most accomplished in life or being the most successful; sometimes it’s simply about enjoying, going with the flow, and being there.

Life in the PNW has taught me how important that really is. With the erratic weather and near constant rain up here planning can become a bit daunting. We have to seize the spontaneous moments and cherish all the unexpected surprises that life brings our way no matter how big or small.
