Ultimately, this path of self-discovery is an adventure, filled with ups and downs, leading us to the core of our true essence.

As a kid I loved capturing the magic of women’s faces in my artwork; the way their eyes held a thousand stories, or a secret behind their smile. I spent hours trying to capture not just their likeness, but the essence of their spirit. My passion for portraying women in art was just the beginning of a lifelong journey to celebrate and uplift the feminine spirit in all its forms.

I’m beyond thrilled to unveil my latest art collection, Journey to Self. This unique collection of artwork captures the essence of personal growth and discovery. Each piece explores the many layers of womanhood that shape who we are, beautifully showcasing our journey to self-love and acceptance.

I never set foot in art school, but that didn’t stop me from creating! In the spring of 2014, I created my first mixed media piece—though, truth be told, it’s a total blur now! Armed with fresh supplies and a burning curiosity, I dove headfirst into the colorful chaos, and boy, did I have a blast!

Later this week I'll be turning 42 and my heart has been calling to me. It’s been whispering of changes for my life, art and dreams. Every day we spend on this beautiful planet is limited and precious. This year, I am committed to following the gentle whispers of my heart.

My new art studio is a canvas of possibilities. It's a place where inspiration thrives, and I’ve been hustling to create my dream space. Beautiful hand-painted flowers now grace the walls of my “office”, rainbows dance across the space as sunlight streams through the large windows and the ceiling and baseboards flaunt my favorite color: a fabulous shade of teal!

Little bundles of paper scraps can be the perfect starting point for a creative journey and a beautiful piece of art. Whenever you’re stuck, feeling uninspired or simply can’t seem to get started they’re the perfect little creative spark and making them is so relaxing and fun.
