Sharing your talents and love of creativity is an amazing way to inspire others to do the same. Think of it as a pay-it-forward kind of thing.

Not only does the world deserve to see what you can do but you can change so many lives with a single act of sharing.

Pick the perfect project, gather up your girls and get to crafting. A crafternoon can be hosted anywhere around any theme you choose. Make it comfy and casual or go all out and throw at crafting party. The possibilities are endless!

5. Write a blog, its easy and inexpensive.

Building a Creative Blog

I know, the word "blogging" can seem intimidating, time consuming and daunting but it doesn't have to be. There are countless companies offering free website hosting along with dozens of easy to use templates like wix.com, squarespace.com, wordpress.com, web.com and 1and1.com just to name a few.

6. Create video tutorials.

People love videos! It's that simple. They love the personal connection and interaction it offers. And even though the word video sends me running for the hills I'm working hard to get over it.

7. Join a creative Facebook group.

There are literally hundreds of Facebook groups where you can upload and share your creativity with others like you or who are looking for creative inspiration. Just search for what interests you, join the group and get sharing.

8. Open an Instagram account.

This is a super easy way to reach hundreds of people with your creativity and the best thing is that Instagram is built for photographs! Show your work to the world in just a few easy steps.

9. Host a workshop.

Workshops are just like crafternoons but on a bigger scale. You can offer them through community centers, your church, senior centers and maybe your work place. They are a great way to make personal connections with others and reach out to your community.

10. Demo at a craft fair.

People love watching "experts" create. It is not only inspiring but entertaining as well. Its a great conversation starter and amazing way to share your talents. Do you face paint? Wouldn't a booth at a craft/street fair be perfect? Maybe you create watercolor artwork, set up a booth at a local show and make sure your demo table is right in the front.

11. Display your work in public.

Creatively Misty Gallery Display

I'm not talking about The Metropolitan Museum of Art (though that would be amazing) or anything but your work deserves to be seen. Many local restaurants, museums, galleries, corporate/city offices, doctor's offices, libraries, churches, bookstores, convention centers, colleges, etc. offer fantastic places to share your talents with the world.

‘til next time,

Misty
