DIY Natural Love Decor

Not only is this project perfect for Valentine’s Day but you can use it to celebrate love all year long. With just a few simple supplies and a few minutes of your time you’ll have a beautiful new piece of decor.

What you’ll need:

Clay (red, pink or white)

3 branches

Twine

Drill and small drill bit

DIY Natural Love Decor
  1. Mold six hearts out of clay.

  2. Poke a hole from through each heart from top to bottom.

  3. Bake the clay hearts according to the clay instructions. Let cool completely when done.

  4. Scavenge three branches.

  5. Drill a hole straight through the center of all three branches.

  6. Drill two more holes straight through one of the branches to the left and right of the center hole.

  7. Thread your twine through one heart, the first branch, one heart, the second branch, one heart and the last branch.

  8. Tie a knot just below the last branch so everything stays in place. Leave a 2-3” tail of twine at the bottom.

  9. Thread your tail of twine through another heart and tie a knot just below the heart so it dangles in place.

  10. Tie a knot in one end of each 3” piece of twine.

  11. Thread each 3” piece of twine through the last branch, keeping the knot at the top of the branch so it hangs.

  12. Thread another heart onto the bottom of each 3” piece of twine and tie a knot just below the heart so it dangles in place.

  13. Tie a small loop in the top of the twine for hanging.
