Warm & Fuzzy DIY Jar Tutorial

Pinterest image: warm and fuzzy

As many of you know, fall is my absolute favorite season and I love crafting this time of year. The crisp air, vibrant leaves and shorter days bring a warm fuzzy feeling to my soul. There’s something so splendid about wrapping myself in a warm fuzzy sweater and enjoying a cup of tea in the mornings. So, I thought wouldn’t it be fun to dress up my decor in a warm fuzzy sweater too! These adorable jars are perfect with LED candles or as a vase to hold your beautiful Autumn foliage. They’re guaranteed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy no matter how you use them.

What you’ll need:

Glass jars

Old sweater

Fabric scissors

Ribbon

Twine

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

  1. Clean and dry your jars.

  2. Cut the sleeves off of the sweater and fit over the jar, keeping the cuff at the top.

  3. Cut any excess from the bottom of the sleeve.

  4. Cut a piece of ribbon to fit around the top of your jar and glue in place.

  5. Cut a piece of twine long enough to wrap around the top of the jar 3-4 times.

  6. Warp the twine around the top edge of the ribbon gluing in place as you go.

  7. Place LED candles, flowers, etc. into the jar and enjoy.

Happy crafting,

Misty
