Upcycled DIY Art

I love creating! Creating things is just a way of life for me, I couldn’t imaging not creating. Unfortunately over the years supplies have become so expensive and the world is just filling up with more and more junk. Once I realized this, I decided I wanted to create things in an affordable, earth-friendly way.

Upcycling is one of my favorite creative passions. Incase you don’t know what that is, it’s the act of turning something old into something new. Two of my other creative passions include painting and greencrafting: creating with natural or earth friendly supplies.

It’s taken me years and tons of exploring to get to where I am today and I’m still learning but now I’ve found a way to wrap all my favorite creative passions in one beautiful art form.

Introducing my new upcycled art!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love creating these beautiful pieces of art. Even though I make multiples of each piece, every one of them is handmade then hand-painted, no two are ever exactly the same.

Each piece is made from recycled egg cartons then painted with non-toxic acrylic and coated in non-toxic resin. All of which will decompose, though the resin will take a few years so you can enjoy each piece longer.

These little beauties will be launching on the Creatively Misty Etsy shop September 1, 2021 at 9am. There will be six designs to choose from including a special Fall limited edition.
