Staying Motivated and Creative as an Artist

No matter if you're a paint-splattering Picasso, a culinary wizard, a jewel-crafting genius or a simple hobbyist, you, my friend, are an artist! Today, I want to remind you of that, because it is so very important.

In the whirlwind of chaos that is our frantic modern lives, it's easy to get caught up in fear and gloom, and stop creating art. That pesky little voice loves to chime in, whispering, "What impact could you possibly have?" Or worse, “is art just a selfish pursuit?”

I’m here to remind you that each of us has that tiny voice but guess what? You've got an artist voice within you that refuses to back down or give up. The world needs you and it needs your art!

Your creativity and unique perspective bring beauty and meaning into the world in ways that only you can. Each brushstroke, stitch, flavor, or gem you craft is a testament to your talent and vision. Never doubt the impact your art has on those who experience it. Remember, your art is a mighty force that can spark inspiration, mend wounds, and weave us all together in a vibrant tapestry of connection.

My mission as an artist is to see, create and share beauty but also to inspire others to see beauty around them, discover it in themselves, treasure it and let it flourish. ⁠

It might be tempting to throw in the towel and dive into negativity, letting gloom and fury rule the day, sapping our creative energy. But guess what? We’re braver and stronger than that, we are artists!
