I absolutely love Spring!! It’s my favorite time of year for crafting and I’m constantly inspired to create something. This pretty little planter doesn’t take much to create and can easily be customized to fit any decor.

Supplies:

Large popsicle sticks

2 litter soda bottle

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Cardboard

Acrylic paint-white and brown

Paint brush

Utility knife

Scissors

Sharpie

  1. Cut the top 1/3 of the bottle off

  2. Glue popsicle sticks around the outside of the bottle.

  3. Cut two 1/4-1/2” pieces of cardboard long enough to wrap around the bottle.

  4. Glue the cardboard strips into place around the popsicle sticks. One towards the top and one towards the bottom.

  5. Paint the popsicle sticks and cardboard white. Let dry.

  6. Use the brown acrylic to paint in woodgrain details. Let dry.

  7. Draw small round dots onto the cardboard, if desired.

Happy crafting,
