DIY Lovely Art Bookmark Pinable

What you’ll need:

Cereal box

Paper bag

Paper trimmer

Mod Podge

Foam brush

Pencil

Pen and markers

Hole punch

Ribbon

DIY Lovely Art Bookmark
  1. Cut a 2x6” piece of cereal box.

  2. Cut a 2x6” rectangle and a 2 1/2x 6 1/2” rectangle from a brown paper bag.

  3. Mark a 1/4” boarder all the way around the edge of the large paper bag rectangle.

  4. Spread a thin layer of mod podge on one side of the cereal box rectangle.

  5. Quickly place the cereal box rectangle, glue side down, inside the boarder of the large paper bag rectangle.

  6. Press firmly and smooth out to adhere.

  7. Cut a small 1/4” square from each corner of the large paper bag rectangle.

  8. Fold the left and right sides of the large paper bag rectangle over the cereal box rectangle and glue in place.

  9. Press firmly and smooth out to adhere.

  10. Fold the top and bottom sides of the large paper bag rectangle over the cereal box rectangle and glue in place.

  11. Press firmly and smooth out to adhere.

  12. Spread a thin layer of mod podge over the exposed cereal box rectangle and each of the side flaps.

  13. Quickly place the small paper bag rectangle onto the layer of mod podge, matching up all edges and sealing in the side flaps.

  14. Press firmly and smooth out to adhere.

  15. Flip the bookmark over.

  16. Draw and color your design as desired.

  17. Punch a hole in the center top of the bookmark and tie with ribbon.
