Easy Watercolor Art Tutorial

Time needed: 30 minutes

Playing with watercolors is tons of fun and there’s absolutely nothing to be intimidated about. Just grab some paper, stamps and your watercolors and you’re ready to get started.

Supplies:

White cardstock

Patterned cardstock (preferably something with text or writing)

Paper trimmer

Stamp

Stazon ink pad

Watercolors

Watercolor paint brush

watercolor artwork
  1. cut your patterned cardstock to 4x6”.

  2. Stamp your images onto the pattered cardstock as desired.

  3. Watercolor your background.

  4. Watercolor your stamped images as desired.

  5. Let dry.

  6. Cut a 5x7” piece of white cardstock.

  7. Adhere the watercolor art into the center of the 5x7” rectangle.

  8. Add details with a Micron pen if desired.
