Need an easy project to get your crafting started? This quick tutorial will show you how to make a simple art piece with minimal supplies and time.

I tend to get bored painting on canvas all the time so I’m constantly on the lookout for new things to use as my canvas. Today’s project is super fun because the twine adds its own dimension and texture to the painting.

Supplies:

Heavy twine

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Fabric or multi-surface paint

Paint brushes

  1. Starting from one end of the twine being rolling the twine into a flat circle.

  2. Continue rolling out from the center, gluing along the way until you’ve reached the other end of twine.

  3. Glue the end of twine in place.

  4. Press the twine circle flat for an hour or so.

  5. Paint your image and let dry completely.

Happy crafting,
