DIY Seaglass Jars

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love projects that are quick and easy to create and with summer in full swing, my mind tends to head for the beach. These adorable little seaglass jars are perfect for summer parties, use them as candle holders or fill them with sand and shells for decor. Or if parties aren’t your thing, simply use them to add to your home decor.

Below I’ll walk you through this easy DIY from start to finish with step-by-step instructions so gather up your supplies and start crafting when you’re ready. You’ll learn how easy it is to color any jar with just a few simple supplies. This project is a fun and easy way to experiment with all kinds of fun color combinations, just have fun with it.

Supplies:

Glass jars

Clear Elemer’s glue

Paint brush

Alcohol ink

Popsicle stick

  1. Mix some glue with 3-4 drops of alcohol ink. The amount of glue will depend on the size of your jar. Also, the more ink you add the darker the color will be.

  2. Paint the jar(s) and let dry completely.

It’s that simple and now you have tons of fun, colored jars you can use for anything you want; gifts, candles, decor, you name it.
