12 Days of Gift Giving

As many of you know I'm not a huge fan of the holidays and no it's not the holiday's themselves I don't like it's the simple fact that I've worked retail holidays for nearly 10 years now and saying I'm burnt out is an understatement.

By the time Christmas actually rolls around we're already setting for Spring as Christmas in retail starts in July most years. Then there's all the rude, unfriendly, entitled customers who've somehow left their Christmas spirit and holiday cheer out in the car. Isn't this the time of giving and gratitude? Yeah no, not in the retail world.

I do however continue to love the holiday's away from work, tucked quietly away at home with minimal human interaction. Celebrating is simple with minimal decorations, a tree, a few gifts and that's that.

My favorite part of Christmas you may ask? Making gifts for all my friends and family of course! I LOVE making all their gifts!!! I get to spend more time thinking about each person and add fun personal touches for each. Plus bonus, less time in stores with more ungrateful people. It's a win win.

I'm also an avid upcycler and green crafter. Two of my all time favorite ways to create and I thought, what a great way to celebrate the holidays! Twelve days of Christmas, each one offering a fun, easy to make upcycled gift idea! Yay!!!! I can't wait to start and hope that y'all enjoy them has much as I'm loving making them.

So keep your eyes on your inbox for my 12 days of gift giving inspiration coming at you starting December 1st.

'Til next time,

Misty
