When I began my mixed media journey in 2014, I had no clue what mixed media was, how to get started or why so many people loved it. All I knew was that I wanted to create something bold, different and unique.
I dove headfirst into the rabbit hole that is Pinterest and YouTube, soaking up as much inspiration as I could. Then I started collecting; magazines, newspapers, old fabric, trinkets and just about anything else that sparked my interest. My first few projects were tons of experimental fun, filled with trial and error, each one teaching me something new about techniques and my style.
As time went by, I discovered the joy of layering and thrill of no rules, and boy, was I hooked!
Now, mixed media is my passion and my refuge. It's a playground where I can explore endless possibilities and push the boundaries of my art. Every creation is a new adventure, a chance to see where my imagination takes me. That's why, even after all these years, I still love it as fiercely as when I first started.
