DIY Succulent Dome Pinable

Succulents are beautiful, come in such an amazing variety and are easy to take care of. If you’re like me you have several in your home and sometimes you just want to change up the way you display them and give it a new look.

Well your in luck. Today I’m sharing how to create a simple succulent dome with upcycled materials.

What You Need:

Glass

Candle holder or small dish/pot

Acrylic paint

Paint brush

Wood block

Dremel or wood carving tool

Potting soil

Succulent

DIY Succulent Dome
  1. Scavenge a wood block that will accommodate your glass size.

  2. Trace your glass onto the wood block.

  3. Use a Dremel or hand carving tool to carve out the glass outline. Make sure it is deep enough that your glass sits down inside.

  4. Paint the wood block and let dry completely.

  5. Glue your “pot” into the center of the carved out circle. Let dry completely.

  6. Plant and water your succulent.

  7. Place the glass dome into the wood block.
