Little Spooks Halloween Pocket Card

Hand making greeting cards is so much fun! You get to be the designer for once and show off your creativity, who doesn’t love that! This adorable, interactive card is easy to create, and your recipient is sure to love playing with it.
This cute card is a great way to do some simple DIY papercrafting in your downtime and spread some fun and happiness to others! So, gather up the supplies below and get creating today!
Supplies:
Cardstock- kraft and white
Paint pens
Patterned cardstock- two different designs
Hole punch
Twine
Tape runner or paper glue
Scissors
Cut a 6x8” piece of cardstock and fold in half creating a 4x6” card base.
Cut a 3.5x5.5” piece of patterned cardstock #1.
Adhere the patterned cardstock to the center of the card base.
Outline the patterned cardstock with a paint pen.
Cut a 3x5” cardstock tag.
Punch a hole in the top of the tag.
Draw dots and lines around the edge of the tag.
Cut a 2x3.5” piece of patterned cardstock #2.
Adhere the patterned cardstock #2 rectangle to the center of the tag.
Outline the patterned cardstock #2 with a paint pen.
Cut a 2x2” piece of patterned cardstock #1.
Tear the top of the square at a slight angle.
Adhere the patterned cardstock #1 square to patterned cardstock #2 rectangle about 1/2” from the bottom, making sure to leave the top edge open for your pocket.
Outline the patterned cardstock #1 with a paint pen.
Wrap twine around the bottom of the tag where the patterned cardstock #1 square ends. Adhere in place.
Wrap twine through the hole in the tag.
Cut a 1/2x1” white rectangle.
Write a spooky word across the white rectangle and trace the edges.
Adhere the white rectangle over the top of the twine.
Adhere the tag centered but slightly angled onto the card base.
Draw, color and cut out a couple spooky characters to place inside the pocket. (Ghost, jack-o-lantern, pumpkin, etc.)
