DIY Grow with Love Canvas Tutorial
Mixed media projects are always so much fun! You get to play around with multiple mediums and they’re pretty hard to mess up. It’s all about experimenting and doing what you want, never knowing quite how they’re going to turn out.
What you’ll need:
Canvas
Paint brush
Foam brush
Gel medium
Cardstock
Ink spray
Acrylic paint- 4 colors
Paint the canvas with color #1 and let dry.
Rip the cardstock into small pieces, any shape you want.
Use the gel medium and foam brush to adhere your cardstock pieces onto the canvas, arranging them anyway you choose. Let dry completely.
Lightly paint random spaces with color #2 to blend the cardstock and canvas together. Let dry.
Spritz with ink spray, for further blending, and let dry.
Paint your image and phrase with color #3. Let dry completely.
Color your image in with watered down color #4, if you want, and let dry.
