Creating for the Fun of it

Creating is one of the best methods to relieve stress, gain perspective and provide inspiration but sometimes creating should just be about fun.

When was the last time you made something just for the fun of it?

Not because someone asked you to make something, not because you have a deadline, not because you think it'd be an amazing gift for someone, not because it's what everyone else is doing, not because you need to make money but with no more reason or purpose than just because you wanted to.

Has it been awhile?

Yeah, me too.

I remember back when all creating was just for the fun of it and you know what, those were my best creations yet.

They were wild and free from a special place in my heart where my head didn't get in the way. I didn't care what anyone would think of my work. I didn't care how long it took or if it would sell someday.

It was simply for the joy of creating.

It's time for some creative fun!

GO make a mess.
